Like its cousin, the GUID Converter, this tool is a simple WinForms app (.NET 1.1) that converts SIDs between formats such as SDDL and binary. It can also do "friendly name" translations for you such as converting S-1-1-0 to "Everyone" and vice versa using the appropriate Windows API functions. Like the GUID Converter, it also supports LDAP octet string and LDAP filter string formats. Enjoy!
