    proxy certificate

    Hi-

During installing of the Federation Proxy when prompted to choose a "select a certificate", we are not seeing our certificate or any certificate.  Where does this prompt populate it certs from?

We have tried using selfssl and also creating a cert from http://localhost/certsrv.  Are we not seeing our certificate due to permission problems?  The cert has aspnet, network service, admin permissions.

The cert is located in Trusted Root Certificate Authority and appears to be working just fine.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks again

    Jordan

    Re: proxy certificate

I think I have this figured out. Web server was the wrong type of certificate as it is not a client cert.

    Re: proxy certificate

I'm having this problem, but my certificate is a client auth certificate.

I don't think that SSL is complicated, there are just too many assumptions made when giving directions on how/where to install them.

How/where do I install this cert that I have so that it shows up in my list to select?

Are there any good tutorials or articles that go over SSL certs?

    Re: proxy certificate

It finally came up in the selection dialog, because I copied it into the Personal store.  Now I can select it.

Still having other cert issues that the diag tool is telling me about, but not sure how to resolve them.
