Token generation in an ADFS cluster

    Hi,

I was wandering. How does token generation work in an ADFS cluster? If I go to app1 I will be redirected to ADFS1 for example. If I go to app2 I could get redirected to ADFS2. Does ADFS2 know that the token is valid? Of course I don't want ADFS2 to create a new token because the user would have to log on again.

    Thanks,

    René

As long as you use the same token signing cert for both fed servers and all the clocks are synced as required, this should work fine.  We use ADFS behind a load balancer like this all the time with no problems at all.
